New TII Winter Fleets on the Road in Ireland

Romaquip recently supplied new fleets of ULTIMA II spreaders & ploughs to Egis Lagan (22no.) Colas Roadbridge (13no.) & Globalvia Jons (15no.). The vehicles will be used to treat the Irish road network in Area’s A, B & C.

These spreaders are mounted on Volvo 6x4 chassis supplied by Irish Commercials and are fitted with the latest innovations, technologies & safety features.

One of the main features of the new fleets is the addition of the rear chevron board c/w aerodynamic movers which has been designed & fully tested on our custom test site. These have been fitted to Romaquip fleets since 2018 and allow for the safe & accurate spreading at speeds up-to 80kph as well as providing enhanced visibility.

The Egis Lagan fleet also includes 4no. Full Wet units. More on this new product offering from Romaquip coming soon.
