Are you ready for Winter?

National Highways are and it’s all thanks to Romaquip Ltd. as we will soon complete the supply of a new fleet of winter maintenance vehicles.

Since 2018 we have supplied National Highways with a new fleet of 443 gritters and snow ploughs mounted on chassis procured from Volvo Trucks.

These state-of-the-art gritters all have the latest features such as automatic spreading using the latest smart technology and have a greatly enhanced performance due to the in house designed & developed rear chevron board c/w aerodynamic movers which allows for the safe & accurate spreading at speeds up-to 80kph.

The new fleet which are a mixture of pre-wet, full wet and combi+ vehicles and can be seen in operation keeping the motorways moving and free of ice & snow all over the UK during the busy winter season.

The roll out of the new gritting fleet is fully supported by Romaquip and our UK based team of customer support engineers.
