East Lothian New Collection Service
Romaquip recently supplied a new fleet of 17no. Kerb-Sort recycling vehicles to East Lothian Council.
Using a bespoke designed Kerb-Sort the new service started last year and provides a weekly collection of a range of recyclable materials from more than 54,000 households across East Lothian.
These new vehicles provided the extra compartment space required to ensure more materials are collected, therefore increasing recycling rates and ultimately shows East Lothian Council's intent to provide services that deliver local and national benefits, encouraging high-levels of participation in waste prevention, recycling and reuse as per Zero Waste Scotland's Charter for Household Recycling in Scotland.
Romaquip were delighted to help in getting this new collection service on the road and well done to all involved who have made it such a great success. Happy Recycling.
