All ready for the new roll out! This week the Vale of Glamorgan rolled out their new Recycling service to even more households.

Last week the first Romaquip Kerb-Sort recycler vehicles landed on the Isle of Man destined for Douglas Borough Council.

Our UK sales Manager Matt Patanden was on-site last week to officially hand over the keys to a new fleet of Romaquip Kerb-Sort vehicles that will be rolled out on the streets of Mid Devon during July.

Last week the Northern Irish environment minister, Edwin Poots, visited Bryson Recycling to see the company’s approach to recycling.

Last year Romaquip supplied the first 12 Kerb-Sorts from an order of 22 to the Vale of Glamorgan. These 12 vehicles have been in operation since October 2019.

Great editorial on the BBC One show this week about Bristol Waste. It doesn't seem like a year since we were supplying and launching 45 Kerb-Sorts to service the area.

At the end of 2019, Romaquip supplied the first batch of 11no. Kerb-Sort vehicles to Torbay, with the remaining 11 vehicles to be delivered this year.

Bristol remains a leading city for recycling, according to data released from the Department of Environment and Rural Affairs (DEFRA). The city ranks number one out of the eight English core cities, with an increased recycling rate of 47.4% for 2018/19, jumping by 2.5% from the previous year.

Since the beginning of the year Romaquip have been delivering a new fleet of Kerb-Sort recycling vehicles to Somerset Waste.

Using their fleet of 25 Romaquip Kerb-Sort vehicles, East Devon district’s recycling rate increased by more than 8% from 46% to 54.2%. Well done to all in East Devon, keep up the recycling.
