What a day last week in Colwyn Bay... the sun was shining on the day Conwy County Borough Council received the first of a new fleet of Romaquip Ltd. RQ-E Kerb-Sort Recycling Vehicles.
The Romaquip team including Stephen McKeown & Matt Patanden were in Conwy Borough Council to hand over the keys to the first fully electric Kerb-Sort, the RQ-E, to go into full operation on collection routes. When fully completed the Conwy fleet will consist of seven fully electric RQ-E vehicles.

Romaquip recently supplied a new fleet of 17no. Kerb-Sort recycling vehicles to East Lothian Council.
Using a bespoke designed Kerb-Sort the new service started last year and provides a weekly collection of a range of recyclable materials from more than 54,000 households across East Lothian.

Since launching the new RQ-E a few months ago the RQ-E has been the most talked about vehicle in the industry and we have been receiving many requests to view and demonstrate the vehicles capabilities to current and potential new customers.
Last week Romaquip were honoured to be part of the 36th British-Irish Council Summit where the First Minister of Wales, Mark Drakeford and An Taoiseach Micheál Martin were on hand to view the latest product offering from Romaquip, the RQ-E fully electric Kerb-Sort recycling vehicle.
The first fleet of these will be delivered to Conwy Council, North Wales. Mounted on a DAF LF, and fully electrified by Romaquip, our new range of electric vehicles with numerous configurations which all retain the high-quality build associated with Romaquip while also providing the complete solution will ensure our existing and new customers can easily achieve their #Netzero carbon goals.

Over the last few weeks Romaquip have supplied a new fleet of Kerb-Sort vehicles to Conwy Council in Wales. These vehicles are the smaller be-spoke designed Kerb-Sorts mounted on DAF 3.55m wheelbase chassis supplied by Motus Commercials with the livery supplied and fitted by Epic Media.
These new vehicles bring the total no. of Romaquip vehicles in Conwy to 27, with more to follow.
New Romaquip Kerb-Sort vehicles are being delivered to various customers all over the UK. Blaenau Gwent, South Hams & Merthyr Tydfil Councils all received new Kerb-Sorts this week.
