Another new fleet of Romaquip Ultima II Gritters are rolling of the production line weekly on their way to the South Wales Trunk Road Agent (SWTRA).

A total of 27 new Romaquip Ultima II gritting vehicles will be delivered to SWTRA this year, 19 of which have already been dispatched and will add to their current fleet of 13 Romaquip gritters which were delivered in 2020 & 2021.

It's that time of year again, Winter season has arrived.

Another fleet of Romaquip Ultima II gritters are rolling out across the UK this season.

A total of 120 new Romaquip Ultima II gritting vehicles will be delivered to National Highways this year and will add to their Romaquip fleet of 191 vehicles which have already been delivered since 2018, with another 132 due for delivery next year as part of a two year roll out.

NEW PRODUCT: Introducing the latest vehicle to join our Winter Maintenance product offering, the Romaquip Ultima II fully automatic full wet spreader c/w motorway snow plough. Designed to be the most cost effective and reliable full wet unit available. The spreader has a capacity of 16,000 litres and can spread at a rate of up to 40grams.

Romaquip recently supplied new fleets of ULTIMA II spreaders & ploughs to Egis Lagan (22no.) Colas Roadbridge (13no.) & Globalvia Jons (15no.). The vehicles will be used to treat the Irish road network in Area’s A, B & C.

Over the last few months Romaquip have supplied a fleet of 93no. Romaquip Ultima II Winter Maintenance Vehicles c/w Snow Ploughs to Highways England, bringing the total supplied over the last 3 years to Highways England to 191 vehicles.

10 years ago this month Romaquip featured on Nationwide, an Irish television program. The program details the history of Romaquip and also shows the manufacturing processes required to build a salt spreader and snow plough.

Romaquip recently supplied Gwynedd Council, Wales with another 7no. Winter Maintenance vehicles to increase their fleet of Romaquips to 25.

Romaquip have just started delivering the first batch of a new fleet of fully Automatic Spreading Winter Maintenance vehicles to Highways England.
